Program Plan:
60-Hour Intensive Professional Medical Interpreter Program (6-9 Weeks)
This program has prerequisites. Please refer to the Program Page for more information. The 60-Hour Program is available for a candidate with either medical background or professional interpreting or translation education AND is able to commit to at least 10 hours a week of study time in addition to group practice session conference calls and individual review and practice, for at least 6 weeks. Candidate must meet or exceed all admission requirements.

1. Language Proficiency in English.
2. Language Proficiency in the non-English language.
3. College level education : At least 2 years post high school.
4. Professional Work Experience: 5 years (in any field.)
5. Healthcare background or medical interpreting experience.
6. Must pass the Screening test with at least 90% grade.

You must apply and be approved to enroll. Fee includes Parts 1, 2, 3. Final Evaluation must be paid separately when scheduling the Final Evaluation.
