60-Hour Intensive Professional Medical Interpreter Program (Installment Plan Option)
This program has prerequisites. Please refer to the Program Page for more information. The 60-Hour Program is available for a candidate who meets the academic and language requirements. This is a 12-week program. You may request an extension for extenuating circumstances.
Culture Advantage Professional Curriculum
Requirements: Please refer to the curriculum for details.
1. Language Proficiency in English.
2. Language Proficiency in the non-English language.
3. College level education : At least 2 years post high school.
4. Professional Work Experience: 5 years (in any field.)
5. Healthcare experience.
6. Must pass the Screening test with at least 90% grade if candidate does not meet all requirements. There is no charge for the Screening Test for qualified healthcare professionals.

Your Program Plan Start Date and End Date is individualized and based on your approved Program Plan. Please contact Marlene for your approved Program Plan before you start.

Installment Plan Policy
This is set up as Installment Payment (Subscription Payment) through your online account. You do not have to do anything when the payment is due as this is an automated payment each month.
The payment is $100.00 per week for 11 weeks for a total of $1100.00
This is set up as an automatic payment each month through your online account. Installment Series payment must be completed before you take your Oral Skills Final Evaluation.
If you would like to schedule your final evaluation date before the payments are completed, you need to prepay the remaining balance in full. Please contact Marlene to do this.
The following program schedule must be followed:
- Part 1: Section 1 must be completed in 2 weeks. Section 2 must be completed in 2 weeks.
- Part 2: Section 1 must be completed in 2 weeks. Section 2 must be completed in 2 weeks.
- Part 3: Module 1, Module 2, Module 3 must be completed in 4 weeks
- Comprehensive Final Evaluation must be reserved on the 13th week (Sunday) at least one week in advance. The CFE fee is paid separately, $150.00 when reserving the final evaluation date.
(Unless otherwise stated in your Program Plan, the Comprehensive Final Evaluation Fee is paid separately when you reserve your Oral Skills Evaluation date. Please contact Marlene about your approved Program Plan with any questions.)
You may request a 4-week extension due to extenuating circumstances if unable to complete the program in 12 weeks for a total of 16 weeks, if all payments have been completed. After 16 weeks, you may sign up for monthly extension (extra fee). Please note that there may be fees for exam retakes, private sessions, required remedial sessions, personal coaching/tutoring if required, final exam retake, and certification review sessions if not part of your approved Program Plan. Completion of payment processing indicates agreement to Culture Advantage Policies/Terms and Conditions. Link to current Policies, Terms and Conditions.
You must apply and be approved to enroll.
Fee includes Parts 1, 2, 3. Final Evaluation must be paid separately when scheduling the Final Evaluation. Please check your Approved Program Plan. If the subscription payment is cancelled or no payment is received, the access to the lessons will be terminated until the payment is resumed. There is a $50.00 fee for cancellation within 24 hours if no lessons have been accessed. There is no refund after one week of registration.Please complete payment processing below. Once the payment is completed, you will receive an email confirmation. If paying during business hours, you will receive access to the online orientation on the same day. After completing the online orientation, you would be able to start on the lessons. If paying after office hours, you will receive access to the orientation on the next business day.
