Anatomy and Medical Terminology
The Certificate in Medical Interpreting prepares the participant to function effectively as a communication facilitator between the healthcare provider and the client. The study of basic anatomy is integrated with medical terminology in order to enhance comprehension, recall, and comfort level. The program includes ethics, roles of interpreters, and standards of practice based on national organizations' published standards.
